

It is draining! It creates feelings of underappreciation and can negatively impact work-life balance. However, I wish someone had told me that I can’t be an inspirational and transformational leader all the time. Those leadership styles are must-have tools for your toolbox.

The school leader must be at the forefront of facing emerging challenges like the pandemic-implementing new initiatives, integrating federal and state mandates, and updating school procedures. Many of the things we do as leaders require both transformational and inspirational leadership.
